Participating students will be accommodated in boutique hotel rooms located in the historic centre of Athens, in short distance from the main venue of the courses of the summer school.
Students have to contact the organizing committee for information on the accommodation options.

Accommodation – Antiparos island
While on the field trip to Antiparos island, participating students will be accommodated in small hotels of the island.
Travel Arrangements
Travelling to Athens to participate in the summer school is easy as Athens is one of the most visited cities in the world.
Athens International Airport (El. Venizelos) is a hub for all the major carrier, hosting on a daily basis hundreds of flights.
To move from the airport to the city centre visitors can use taxis (around 40-50€) metro line or suburban train line (9€ per trip) or buses (5,50€ per trip)
In the city the most popular means of transport are buses and the metro lines. There is a universal ticket for all the means of transport (except for those heading for and leaving from the airport) at a cost of 1,20€ valid for one way trip or 90 minutes. There is also a daily ticket at a cost of 4,10€ and a 5-day ticket at a cost of 8,20€.
Tickets have to be validated and in the case of daily and 5-day tickets validation is required only at the first trip.
